Information and advice for new moms by new moms. That’s been our slogan since launching the site in October 2003.

Here at new moms forum we’re dedicated to helping new, expecting and ‘actively trying’ moms (and dads) find the support, information and reassurance they may need during what, for some is a vary scary time!

We’ve worked together to build a website to educate, empower, and connect ourselves, other moms, and people trying to become moms from around the world.

Having a new baby is a life-changing event so we aim to bring you top quality articles, which can be accessed through our easy to use design. We’ve also spent a lot of time implementing the best forum software we could find to ensure that the end user experience is the finest one possible.

At New Moms Forum, we want to be your first stop when you have questions and concerns. In the same way we’re here for you when you want to simply chat about the weather or let off some steam.

Since October 2003, we have built our site organically. Everyone involved with our site has either held babies or long to someday. We’ve had sore boobs feeding, felt sick changing nappies, been embarrassed at restaurants and have struggled to choose the right name. We’re living the moments with you.

Having a baby is one of life’s greatest experiences and we want to ensure it stays that way by calming any worries you may have.

New Moms Forum has been around for a number of years but unfortunately; in Late 2005 a hacker decimated our site.

During this attack we lost pretty much everything. Our community and forums were the worst hit, with all forums, posts and member details destroyed. Worst of all, our backups were corrupt which meant we had to rebuild the site from scratch.

The downtime and outage meant that a large part of our community was lost for good, however the ‘clean slate’ gave us an opportunity to learn from these lessons and rebuild a better and more secure site.

We did just that and the end result is the site that you see today.

We want to continue to grow both our site and our community and we’re hoping to do it together with all of you.

If you are trying to become pregnant, currently pregnant, or a parent we who just wants to chat with like minded people then we’d love for you to join our community.
